Nancy is an eating disorder specialist and is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, one of the most effective types of treatment for anxiety.
She is also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is a powerful tool for healing past trauma, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Nancy has been married for 24 years and has 3 children. Raising 3 teens has made her passionate about helping other parents through the parenting journey. It has also made her more aware of how important it is to have a work-life balance. Nancy enjoys helping her clients find this balance in their own lives. In her free time, she is an avid lover of the arts, and The Art Car Parade is her happy place.
Nancy has been a resident of the Bayou City for the past two decades, and despite the heat, she loves living in a city with such diversity of people, cultures, and food. She lived abroad for many years, is herself a second-generation American, and has traveled extensively around the world, so she has a rich understanding and respect for the various cultures and differences that exist among people.
